Dr. Ram belongs to one of the first batches of dentists in India to be awarded Diplomate of National Board by the Government of India. Apart from owning his DCMFCenter, he also works as a Professor /consultant Surgeon at Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre, Porur, Chennai and Rakshith Hospital He is superspecialised in faciomaxillary surgery & in Dental implants. He has done 2 episodes for Dr. Sun News, a medical talk show on Sun News channel.

Professor Dr.Lakshmi Ramkumar, Dr.Ram's wife, jointly owns Dr.Rams DCMF Center. Gum Depigmentation, Cosmetic Restoration, Root Canal Therapy and Smile Designing are her fortes. She also takes keen interest in overall healthcare and hygiene maintenance. Dr.Rams DCMF Center offers a personalized approach to every individual.
